The Food

On your painting holiday in France you'll be serenaded with gourmet food and seduced by hand-picked wines...

Food-wise, you're in the safe expert hands of chef, Jim Fisher.

Jim is a former BBC Masterchef semi-finalist and has worked with top TV chefs Rick Stein, Tony Tobin and Alistair Little.

Back in the UK, Jim ran Wine'n'Dine, cooking bespoke dinner parties in and around the home counties.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner...

Breakfast will be a continental affair with tea, coffee and fruit juice, brioche and croissants, bread rolls and pastries (i.e. Pain au Raisin/Pain au Chocolat), yoghurt, fruit and conserves.

Lunch can be hot or cold and served either indoors or outside in the courtyard.

Dinner will be preceded by aperitifs (drinks and nibbles). Two or three courses of perfectly cooked and presented classic or local French dishes will follow.

Special dietary needs...

Jim is happy to cater for any special dietary requirements you may have.

So, if you are gluten intolerant, diabetic or even vegetarian, just let him know in good time and he'll rustle you up a feast to match.

The food...

All our ingredients are bought locally from local producers. Often, produce comes direct from our very own veg garden, and virtually all the herbs are grown by us.

The kitchen team...

Helping Jim in the semi-professional kitchen is Liz, a former chef. An ex-pat, like ourselves, Liz will also be on hand for any advice, etc.

Want a chat about diet, ingredients, dishes..?

If you have any questions about any aspect of our food - dietary requirements, ingredients, allergies, etc - please email or phone (0033 [0]553 302405).

We're really looking forward to your call.
