One & Two Day Painting Courses in the Dordogne,
SW France
Holidaying in the Dordogne or living nearby?
Then why not join us for a one-day, two day or three-day painting course amidst the beautiful rolling hills of the Dordogne?
We normally run our great value day-painting courses during a scheduled week-long course, but we're very flexible about when you can join in, so the choice is yours.
It can also depend on what your skill level is as to what point in a scheduled painting course you join, but, either way, we can accommodate you.
Staying nearby and want to join a local painting course for just a day or two?
If you're staying nearby - in a gite for example - a one or two day painting course could be just the thing.
What's more, we can arrange transport for you, and provide breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as expert friendly painting tuition.
Or, we come to you...
Or maybe you live nearby, but for some reason can't get away: well, your one or two day painting course can come to you!
Yes, we will come to your house and show you how to capture your favourite subject be it a stunning view, your pet dog, or a portrait of your partner.

The maximum number of students on a one or two day painting course is eight, so there is always a good student/tutor ratio and everyone receives their fair share of attention.
The Food...
In charge of the cooking is our cookery course chef, Jim Fisher, so be assured that you'll get some great food!
Cooking mostly classic and regional French dishes, and a few little numbers from further afield, Jim is happy to cater for all food tastes, including vegetarian.
Even if you are on a restricted diet i.e. if you happen to be gluten-intolerant or diabetic, he will adjust the menu accordingly.

The venue, near Sarlat, in the Dordogne...
The venue for our one and two day painting course is our recently converted barn near St Genies, 15km north of Sarlat on the way to Montignac. It is a magnificent place in which to paint and stay.
The painting is conducted mostly outdoors (if the weather's good to us) and you will be surrounded by an absolute abundance of beautiful painting and drawing subjects.
