Current projects...
His current non-commissioned paintings (ie, what spins his wheels in his spare time) are concerned with illusions and conjuring. This subject allows him to create what is in many respects a surreal image, yet is in reality an actual event.
Richard now lives in France with his wife and three sons. As well as his painting tuition he runs a busy musical instrument shop in nearby Gourdon - the largest for miles around - where, among other things, he sells Fender Stratocasters to would-be Johnny Halidays!
